Summary: The Product Manager - Consumer & Small Business Deposits is responsible for leading the strategy, performance, and optimization of Centier Bank's consumer and small business deposit products. This role ensures all offerings align with client needs, support Centier's financial objectives, and reflect the Bank's culture of service, trust, integrity, and community commitment. Serving as the subject matter expert for the deposit portfolio, the Product Manager partners closely with Retail, Business Banking, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Finance, and Risk/Compliance to manage product lifecycles, develop pricing strategies, monitor portfolio performance, and execute product enhancements across both branch and digital channels. The position also supports senior leadership by evaluating product performance, interpreting market trends, assessing financial and competitive impacts, and recommending strategic changes that balance competitiveness, profitability, and regulatory expectations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the full lifecycle of consumer and small business deposit products, including development, launch, enhancement, and retirement.
  • Develop and maintain the multiyear product roadmap aligned with strategic goals and financial plans.
  • Evaluate client needs across branch and digital channels to enhance product design and user experience.
  • Manage pricing structures, interest rates, and fee frameworks for deposit products.
  • Serve as the primary contact and subject matter expert for assigned product areas and all deposit related matters.
  • Monitor product performance and evaluate the impact of pricing and fee changes on customer behavior, retention, and profitability.
  • Forecast financial impacts of pricing changes and provide recommendations to executive management.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for executive leadership to optimize portfolio growth and client satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market shifts, and competitive pressures that impact deposit performance.
  • Conduct research on consumer behaviors, product usage trends, and fintech influences.
  • Oversee the implementation of new product features, system updates, and process improvements.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure products, disclosures, and pricing meet regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits and regulatory reviews as needed.
  • Provide a WorldClass Service experience in every interaction.
  • Exhibit Centier's Essentials of Excellence and corporate values through actions and decisionmaking.
  • Complete additional projects and duties as directed.

Job Specifications / Skill Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of consumer and small business deposit products, pricing methodologies, and portfolio performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; able to interpret financial and market data.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present insights clearly.
  • Strong judgment and decision making abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing consumer and/or small business banking products.
  • Prior experience in product management, pricing, portfolio management, or retail banking strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of deposit product structures, regulatory considerations, fees, and pricing strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI, with the demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and market research.
  • Experience with core banking platforms preferred (FIS IBS experience a plus).
  • Experience with regulatory requirements supporting audit/exam cycles.
