As a Senior Digital Design Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team developing high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits, including delta-sigma ADC's and DAC's, amplifiers, DC/DC converters, and other circuitry in advanced CMOS processes. You will play a meaningful role in developing next-generation devices and ensuring that leading consumer electronics manufacturers can easily integrate our devices into their products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Work from concept to mass production in a team environment to design digital subsystems that form the core of our high-performance mixed-signal ICs.
  • Ownership of the design and development of a variety of digital and DSP IP blocks within those subsystems.
  • Verification of those subsystems in a directed test environment and to support a verification team doing UVM verification.
  • Support tape-out and post-silicon activities, including validation, characterization, and production test.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of digital system design experience; or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 3+ years of digital system design experience; or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong DSP skills and a working knowledge of high-level modeling tools like Simulink, Matlab, or similar.
  • Understanding and experience implementing IIR and FIR filters.
  • Ability to analyze linear and non-linear signal processing systems.
  • Strong microprocessor and complex state-machine development skills, including understanding ARM processors and support environments, buses, peripherals, etc.
  • The ability to design complex state machines that support analog systems, including calibration.
  • Strong lab and silicon validation skills.
Export control restrictions based upon applicable laws and regulations would prohibit candidates who are nationals of certain embargoed countries from working in this position without Cirrus Logic first obtaining an export license.
