Overview

The Applications Database Administrator is responsible for administering, supporting, and maintaining enterprise database environments that support missioncritical applications. This role requires handson experience with database platforms, strong technical expertise, and the ability to operate within organizational and contractual requirements.



Responsibilities

    Administer and support enterprise database environments supporting application systems
  • Perform routine database maintenance, monitoring, tuning, patching, and troubleshooting
  • Ensure database availability, integrity, security, and performance
  • Support database backup, recovery, and continuity operations
  • Collaborate with application, system, and infrastructure teams to resolve databaserelated issues
  • Maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and support activities


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or
  • Oracle 19c (or higher) certification and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) - SQL Server Administrator certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of current experience as an Applications Database Administrator or in a closely related role

  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
