Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook to join our Culinary Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and preparing food to standardized recipes. Have knowledge of sanitation in the kitchen and basic knife skills, saute, and grilling methods. Energetic, reliable and able to keep up in a high-volume kitchen.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years cooking experience or Culinary Training

Preferred

• Preferable Experience in hospitality, a hospital or healthcare setting
• 3-5 years hotel experience
• Serv-safe certificate

Scheduling Requirements

• This is a full-time position with a shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm
• The candidate must be available to work on weekdays and weekends as well as holidays,

Essential Functions

• Accurately prepare patient meals in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
• Maintain a clean and tidy work station
• Handle all questions and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist in other areas as needed based on staffing and patient flow,
• Operate commercial cooking equipment
