As the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, the Reagan Building is the official World Trade Center Washington, DC, featuring a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking and public programming.

Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the RRB/ITC, is seeking a talented Receptionist to join our team.

The Front Desk Receptionist goal is to provide TCMA clients with outstanding customer service and support. As the 'face' of the company, the front desk receptionist will be presentable and friendly, with outstanding people's skills. The position requires a talent for multi-tasking, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Essential Functions

  • Greet clients and visitors at the front desk with a positive and helpful attitude and welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
  • Answering phones in a professional manner and routing calls as necessary.
  • Represent TCMA and the Ronald Reagan Building to all walk-in guests and phone callers.
  • Notify recipients of packages and assure that outgoing parcels and mail is expedited efficiently and that incoming mail and parcels are delivered to the intended recipients.
  • Receiving and sorting daily mail.
  • Order office supplies and keep the mail room supplies stocked and area clean.
  • Maintain a tidy and well-stocked beverage station and reception area for guests.
  • Contact the Food and Beverage department for condiments such as coffee, tea and water.
  • Maintain schedule for the Conference Room.
  • Assist Administration Staff, Sales Department, and Marketing Department with projects or other duties as needed.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing and research and email communications as needed.


Requirements

  • Minimum two to three years of customer service
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated and professional
  • Able to sit for long periods of time and work in an area visible and accessible to the public
