Job Announcement

The Providence District Office seeks an experienced, and dynamic community liaison to lead engagement efforts and foster strong connections between the office and our diverse community. This position is wholly external-facing and will often be residents' first impression of the Office.

Working alongside the current team, this position supports Supervisor Dalia A. Palchik and helps deliver responsive public service for over 120,000 residents and small business owners. The ideal candidate is a creative, highly organized individual who excels in relationship-building, community engagement, event support, and public-facing communication. Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, as the ability to communicate with diverse community members is an asset in this role.

This position is not envisioned as a desk-bound, in-office role, but rather one focused on meeting residents where they are-at community meetings, events, and gatherings throughout the district. Work hours may be flexible and non-traditional, and the office is open to full-time or part-time arrangements depending on the candidate and operational needs.
