VP, Team Manager - Executive Programs - Global Enterprise

About the role:

Gartner Executive Programs (ExP) is a service within Gartner Executive Technology Services (ETS) and is the indispensable tool for digital leaders. It is an exclusive membership-based organization serving over 8,500 CIOs and senior IT leaders across 90 countries. In this Global Enterprise leadership position, you will manage a team of 10-12 Senior Executive Partners as well as direct delivery to a portfolio of approximately 200 executive clients from across some of our largest and most complex accounts. Gartner Executive Partners are experienced senior executives that serve as trusted advisors to the Senior most Technology and Digital Business Leaders across the globe. They are counted on to help drive digital transformation efforts to success, solve complex end-to-end business problems, and guide the informed use of advanced technologies.

  • Analytical Problem Solver that applies data driven approaches and fact-based strategies to solve problems and continuously improve.
  • Partnership Builder that can establish and maintain trust-based partnerships with internal stakeholders (i.e., sales, HR, Finance) and clients.
  • Executive Communicator that crafts and delivers strong messages to motivate, inspire, and drive action from both internal and external stakeholders. Skilled listener with high levels of emotional intelligence to understand the needs of stakeholders and adapt messages for greater impact, support, and commitment.
  • Digital Business Expert with market knowledge and awareness of the if technology. Has direct experience with "business technology," "front end IT" technology, systems and processes to win, serve and retain customers."
  • Disciplined Prioritizer that manages one's time effectively, focusing on the most critical, customer-centric activities. Balances multiple priorities and successfully adjusts priorities as needed. Ability to take on new challenges and systematically prioritize competing priorities that vary in level of complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a transformative and dynamic business executive you will lead, mentor and scale a high-impact team of Senior Executive Partners (Sr EP's) fostering collaboration and continuous growth.
  • Shape and execute the strategic vision for global enterprise advisory practice, ensuring alignment with evolving client needs.
  • Drive the development and delivery of transformative, end-to-end programs that enhance operational efficiencies and business outcomes.
  • Forge trusted partnerships with Sales counterparts and execute on proven programs to enhance prospect cultivation, accelerate account plan development, and deliver on value demonstration activities.
  • Manage the growth and risk of a client portfolio with responsibility for delivering value, contributing towards growth, and achieving strong client retention outcomes.
  • Collaborate extensively with a wide range of internal partners to help develop Gartner's Global Enterprise Business
  • Help your team solve complex member challenges and channel strategic advice to senior executives in commercial organizations industry-wide.
  • Coach your team to execute world class client engagements consistently and at scale by helping your team identify and shape enterprise mission critical priorities, diagnose and assess digital maturity using data-driven tools.
  • Champion innovation in AI and emerging technologies, coaching the team and clients on practical, hands-on applications
  • Build a diverse and inclusive team - through management of the recruiting, hiring, and training processes

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience as a former c-level and/or senior IT executive equivalent, ideally with large scale and complex responsibilities
  • Extensive senior executive management consulting and/or advisory experience
  • Proven history as a strategic business executive, driving the evolution of high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated success operating large P&Ls and managing sizable senior leadership teams
  • Deep experience working alongside and partnering with sales organizations
  • Established expertise in operational excellence and continuous process improvement
  • History of leading recent, innovative end-to-end programs that deliver significant efficiencies
  • Hands-on experience with AI technologies, with the ability to coach and mentor others in their adoption
  • Compelling board-room presence and the gravitas to influence at the highest levels
  • You should be someone that people enjoy working for and are someone who is passionate about developing and managing individuals to achieve success

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 224,000 USD - 270,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
