Summary of Primary Functions: The Production Operations Coordinator supports daily manufacturing and field service operations within a precast concrete environment. This role is responsible for coordinating production data, creating and managing shop orders in the IFS ERP system, and assisting with industrial engineering standards to ensure accurate planning, efficient workflows, and on-time project execution. The coordinator works cross-functionally with engineering, production, and accounting teams to maintain data accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support overall operational performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.

  • Calculating Industrial Engineering standards.

  • Create shop orders in the IFS ERP system.

  • Assign Material and labor to each shop order.

  • Answers phones, redirects calls, and takes messages.

  • Commits pours from the scheduling system to create shop order in the IFS ERP system.

  • Read shop cards and enter into IE Masters to calculate standards.

  • Communicates labor recording discrepancies with appropriate party.

  • Checks shop cards for discrepancies and obtains clarification from engineering.

  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

  • Closing and selling orders.

  • Consult with IE on manufacturing process to read IE Masters correctly.

  • Month end procedures as specified by accounting.

Job Specifications or Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

Experience:

  • Less than 1 year of prior or related precast or shop experience is required.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
