Desktop Support Technician - Contract (Newington, CT) About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician to support an exciting Microsoft 365 migration project at our Newington, CT facility. This is a contract position with the potential to grow into a longer-term opportunity - and a great resume builder for anyone looking to gain hands-on experience in a real-world enterprise migration environment. What You'll Be Doing * Supporting the migration of users and machines to new hardware as part of an M365 GCC High environment * Configuring and installing Microsoft 365 applications on end-user laptops, including Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive, and Teams * Verifying user accounts and licenses are correctly set up prior to migration * Following a detailed step-by-step migration checklist with precision and care * Coordinating with the migration team to confirm completion at each stage * Flagging any issues or discrepancies to the project lead promptly What We're Looking For * Some experience in desktop or IT support - helpdesk, internship, or similar hands-on experience is great * Comfortable working in a Windows environment and configuring Microsoft 365 apps * Strong attention to detail - this role requires following a precise process every time * Good communicator who speaks up when something doesn't look right * Ability to work independently and stay organized across multiple users and machines * Familiarity with Active Directory and OneDrive is a plus, but not required Details * Location: Newington, CT (on-site) * Type: Contract with potential for long-term opportunity * Start: ASAP Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Newington, CT.
