Genesis10 is currently seeking a Generative AI Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Wilmington, DE. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role focuses on engineering cutting-edge generative and agentic AI systems. The ideal candidate will build and optimize LLM-driven autonomous agents, develop scalable RAG pipelines, and create high-performance Python microservices. The position involves deploying and operating AI solutions on cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and OpenShift/Kubernetes within a large enterprise environment. Responsibilities: Build and optimize LLM-driven autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, and tool-using agent workflows Architect and implement scalable RAG pipelines, including embeddings, vector search, retrieval layers, and prompt engineering frameworks Implement LLM function calling, multi-step orchestration, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks Build high-performance Python microservices and AI APIs using FastAPI, Flask, LangChain, and LlamaIndex Engineer distributed AI systems designed for high-scale inference, retrieval, and multi-agent orchestration Deploy and operate AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GKE, Vertex AI, and Cloud Run Containerize and orchestrate AI services using Red Hat OpenShift and enterprise Kubernetes platforms Build and manage CI/CD pipelines aligned to DevOps best practices Work with vector databases such as MongoDB Atlas Vector Search, Chroma, Pinecone, and Redis Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to responsible and compliant AI governance frameworks Requirements: 4+ years of Software Engineering experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related technical field 3+ years of hands-on experience building LLM, generative AI, or agentic AI systems Expert-level proficiency in Python, including async programming, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems Experience with GCP and OpenShift/Kubernetes for deploying scalable AI platforms Proven expertise in RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search, and LLM orchestration Proficiency with Jupyter, GitHub Copilot, CI/CD, and modern DevOps tooling Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive AI innovation Desired skills: Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and APIs for OpenAI, Google Gemini, or similar model families Experience with enterprise observability stacks: Grafana, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, etc Strong communication skills and ability to partner with technical and business stakeholders Pay range: $48.91 - $56.91 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
