Genesis10 is currently seeking a ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC; McClean, VA; Minneapolis, MN; San Antonio, TX; or Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role is within the Cybersecurity group for the Technology Exposure Management Engineering team, where the selected candidate will lead, implement, and support the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module. You will partner with Technical Governance, Platform Architecture, and other developers to ensure designs and practices align with scalable enterprise solutions, taking on development responsibilities for the client's ServiceNow Cyber Security Vulnerability Remediation applications.
Responsibilities:
- Implement solutions by configuring and customizing scripting for all components of the ServiceNow VR product
- Lead complex technology initiatives, acting as an escalation point and providing guidance to less experienced staff
- Design, code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document software deliverables using agreed upon standards and tools
- Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
- Lead the team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Ensure that solutions delivered are secure and scalable, and comply with defined standards and best practices
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, the senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively
- Code ServiceNow solutions within an Agile Framework
Requirements:
- 7+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture methods and ability to consult clients with such topics
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow Application development, installation, or troubleshooting; or similar Vendor Package
- 1+ years of experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, ES5+, and HTML
- Certified as a ServiceNow System Administrator
Desired skills:
- 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response
- Certified as a ServiceNow Application Developer
- Certified as a ServiceNow Implementation Specialist for Vulnerability Response
- Micro-certified in Service Portal, ATF, Flow Designer, Integration Hub etc.
- Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS or React
- 2+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 2+ years of Agile experience
- Integration Experience with Qualys, Wiz, or NVD
Pay range: $71.88 - $79.88 per Hour
