As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will make routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control at key areas. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and warehouse location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns per post orders.
  • Control access at designated entry points by monitoring visitor and driver check-in, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, medical calls, disturbances, and/or evacuation procedures as directed.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and assist with security-related inspections of doors, gates, and lighting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
