Responsibilities:


Our Construction Equipment Group is looking for a full-time Sales Coordinator to work with our sales team in our Concord, NH branch. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in being organized and has great follow-up skills! We are an energetic sales team who sells JCB, Avant, Toro and Vibroscreen. The sky is the limit and we want to add great people to our team!



The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:



  • Coordinate the invoicing process of Construction Equipment in New England
  • Create PO's and process manufacturer credits
  • Purchase extended warranties for new and used sales transactions
  • Coordinate freight needs for new sales deliveries with the transportation team
  • Coordinate service preparations for sales of new equipment and ensure readiness
  • Work with finance vendors to process loan paperwork
  • Assist our Accounts Receivable Manager with past due sales invoices
  • Participate in weekly sales calls and update the status of all sales transactions
  • Answer incoming branch phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments
  • Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time



Desired Skills and Qualifications:



  • Sales Coordination experience preferred but not required
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Equipment experience preferred
  • Well organized
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the business
  • Desire to win!
  • Willingness to work with team members to overcome obstacles
  • Positive, customer focused attitude
  • Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Language Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Mathematical Skills - Intermediate: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning Ability - High: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time


Physical Demands/Work Environment



  • Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will sit, use hands, talk/hear; Occasionally will stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste/smell.
  • Lift and/or Move Functions: Occasionally up to 25 pounds
  • Work Environment: Occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts, exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions
