SUMMARY:

The objective of this position contains several duties throughout the packing facility, Stacking, lifting, dumping raw materials, picking up raw materials from the floor, cleaning, working in wet areas for a long period of time, packing, and/or sorting. Tasks and duties include loading product, monitoring and manipulating materials at various stages of processing; filling various sized containers; and preparing product for shipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Separate and stack packed boxes
  • Setup and prepare pallets to stack packed boxes on
  • Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using pallet jack.
  • Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected; notify supervisors or operators of any malfunctions or safety concerns.
  • Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  • Immediately notify supervisor of any process deviations from specification or any contamination of product.
  • Maintain a clean work area, free of safety hazards
  • Picking up raw materials, finish product from the floor
  • Dumping raw materials
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others
  • Perform repetitive functions paying attention to detail
  • Ability to work with and around water for a long period of time
  • Perform all assigned duties in a proper and timely manner
  • Cooperate with supervisors and managers and ensure compliance with all Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Ability to follow and obey management instruction
  • Any other duties assigned

  • Fast paced setting warehouse environment.
  • Work area is inside in 32degree cold temperature rooms. Area is well ventilated with constant noise, well lit; include forklifts, wet/damp environment, wet floors, and moving belts. Attention to keeping foreign objects off belts is required safety factors
  • Hazards encountered include lifting packed boxes, roller belt (chain), cold temperature, forklift traffic.
  • Smoke-free work environment.



PHYSICAL DEMAND:



  • Job require working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions.
  • Willing and able to work long hours and be available nights and/or weekends as required by the business needs.
  • Working exposed to contaminants (such as pollutants, gases, dust or odors).
  • This job requires working in constant cold temperature (below 32 degrees)

RESUMEN:

El objetivo de esta posicion contiene varias funciones relacionadas con el Empaque, apilando la carga, levantando, desechar vegetales, recogiendo vegetales del piso, limpieza, trabajando en areas humedas durante un largo periodo de tiempo, el empaque, y/o sortear. Funciones y deberes incluyen la carga del producto, Supervision y manipular materiales en distintas etapas de procesamiento; llenar contenedores de diferentes tamanos; y preparan el producto para su envio.

RESPONSABILIDADES Y DEBERES ESENCIALES:



  • Separar y apilar cajas empaquetadas
  • Configurar y preparar las paletas para apilar las cajas empaquetadas
  • Levantar materiales, productos terminados, y articulos empaquetados, a mano o usando un transpaleta.
  • Observe operaciones de equipo de modo que los funcionamientos defectuosos puedan ser descubiertos; notifique a supervisores u operadores de cualquier funcionamiento defectuoso o preocupaciones de seguridad.
  • Examinar los productos para verificar la conformidad a las normas de calidad.
  • Notificar inmediatamente a supervisor de cualquier desviacion del proceso de especificacion o cualquier tipo de contaminacion del producto.
  • Mantener un area de trabajo limpia, libre de riesgos de seguridad.
  • Recoger los productos o productos empaquetados del piso terminado.
  • Desechar de los productos.
  • Capacidad para comunicarse y trabajar bien con los demas.
  • Funciones repetitivas prestando atencion a los detalles.
  • Capacidad para trabajar con y alrededor de lugares mojados durante un largo periodo de tiempo.
  • Realizar las tareas que se le asignen en forma apropiada y oportuna.
  • Cooperar con los supervisores y gerentes y garantizar el cumplimiento de todas las polizas de la Compania, los procedimientos operativos estandar (SOP), y las Buenas Practicas de Fabricacion (BPF).

  • Area de trabajo esta dentro de 32 grados centigrados de temperatura. El area esta bien ventilada con ruido constantemente, bien iluminada; incluyen montacargas, ambiente mojada o humedo, pisos mojados, y moviendo las bandas de la maquinaria. Poner atencion a no tener objetos en las bandas no relacionados con el equipo o el empaque es un factor de seguridad requerid.
  • Los riesgos incluyen levantar las cajas, cinta de rodillos (cadena), temperatura fria, trafico de montacargas.
  • Ambiente libre de no fumar.



DEMANDA FISICA:



  • Trabajo requieren trabajar al aire libre, expuesto a todas las condiciones meteorologicas
