About the role As a Forklift Driver,you'lloperatea forklift to receive,locate, and move products throughout the warehouse, fill customer orders with accuracy, and transport them to the truck line shipping area.You'llalso perform quality control checks to ensure the complete order isaccurate.We'relooking for someone who is accountable, safety-conscious, productive, and motivated to exceed company standards.You will also get to: Off-load daily shipments and stage them properly onreceivingfloor. Accurately count and document inbound deliveries and perform proper maintenance on all forklifts. Pick customer orders for shipment, making sure the correct number and type of product is picked, packed, and shipped. Weigh orders, inspect, and load trucks and assemblevarious typesof merchandise for shipment. Label, mark, and shrink-wrap orders as requested, ensuring that order item quantity and item types areaccurate. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety, adhering to safetystandardsand reporting any unsafe conditionsimmediately. Operate hand jacks, shrink wrapping equipment, and forklift trucks, process orders on PC or handheld scanning unit, andmaintaina clean and orderly work area. Whatwe'relooking for High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience and 1 year of experience with Crown stand-up and cherry picker. Ability to lift 50lbs consistently. Knowledge of receiving, warehouse, and safety procedures and some computer experience. Ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills. Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints withina timelyfashion. Accountability andsafety-consciousness, motivated to exceed company standards.
