Job Description:
  • Evaluate revenue streams against bench marking and prepares monthly reports for management Serve as back up for purchase order requests Perform data entry for billing applications Assist with aging reports and collections Review contracts for financial compliance Secondary duties could include: Prepare complex maps, plans, charts, and other graphic materials Communicate, implement, and coordinate projects with stake holders as well as other City and Airport departments Draft permits, license agreements, and leases for current or potential tenants Conduct tenant compliance inspections and monitor tenant improvements as needed We are looking for candidates who demonstrate knowledge of: Modern office technology and supporting software Basic accounting functions and skills Microsoft Excel proficiencies Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related area of study OR Three years of full-time, professional experience in a related field
As the Airport Properties Manager, you will manage the following:
  • Develop, negotiate and administer complex ground and facility leases, terminal leases, airline use and lease agreements, concessions, parking, ground transportation, and other revenue-producing programs while ensuring compliance with regulations and standards for both aeronautical and non-aeronautical activities.
  • Design, implement, and monitor compliance programs ensuring rent reviews, renewals, and contract terms. Apply knowledge of real estate values, accounting, financial planning, market trends, and contract law to develop and execute financially sound agreements.
  • Engage with prospective tenants and developers by presenting financial analyses, proposals, and delivering persuasive presentations; ensure tenant satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure leases adhere to FAA grant assurances, which require that airport property is used to generate fair market value revenue, with a strong understanding of GAAP, enterprise budgeting, and FAA compliance regulations.
  • Represent the Airport in negotiations and tenant affairs and serve as the primary point of contact with respect to property, parking, and ground transportation programs.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on airport property development, land use, and regulatory compliance; develop long-term revenue forecasts based on current and future tenant and Airport projects and activities.
  • Supervise a team of property specialists, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Research and stay current with aviation industry standards to update the Airport's policies, standards, and programs in alignment with the Airport's Master Plan and strategic vision.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business administration, real estate, public administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in property management, real estate development, or a related field.
  • At least two years of administrative and/or supervisory experience.
