Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description:

Senior Financial Analyst positions offered by ABB Inc. (Richmond, Virginia). Review and analyze financial statements and reports. Track KPIs and prepare financial reports. Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes. Understand key business drivers. Assist project teams with financial guidance. Develop financial projections and build financial models. Perform research and analysis as required. Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

* Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 5 years of experience performing financial planning, analysis, and modeling.

* Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

o Utilizing Cadency by Trintech for the certification of journal entries and account reconciliations;

o Internal controls management and assurance;

o Enforcing Accounting and Reporting Guidelines (A&RP) according to US GAAP; and

o Utilizing a financial reporting analytics dashboard tool as an FP&A user.

* Must also have 2 years of experience utilizing SAP as an FI/CO super user.

* Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
