Job Title: Warehouse Assembler
Duration: 6+ months (Temp to Hire)
Location: Oro Valley, AZ- 85755
Payrate: $18/hr. on w2 without benefits
Shift timing:1st Shift Monday-Friday occasional evening/weekend overtime. 5am to 8am start time

Job Description:
  • The Assembler 2 position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipment.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard.
  • Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limited supervision.
  • Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures.
  • Conduct inspections of own and/or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and/or customer drawing.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards.
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
Required Education:
  • Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an electronics/manufacturing environment or completed OJT training for at least 5 products.
Required Skills:
  • Able to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in English.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned.
  • Use hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gun.
  • Lift and Carry up to 30lbs.
  • Able and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug/alcohol screenings.
  • Able to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operation.
  • Capable of solving problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures.
  • Skilled at simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering.
  • Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Approximately 90% sitting and 10% standing/walking about in-door Company facilities.
  • Use head and neck in static position, looking up/down and side-to-side.
  • Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands.
  • Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf.
