GIS Analytics Consultant - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a GIS Analytics Consultant - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Des Moines, IA or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex analytics initiatives with a primary focus on GIS and Python development. You will be building map applications and dashboards in Esri ArcGIS server related to weather, incident management, corporate security, and property data. You will review and analyze moderately complex analytics challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of data, spatial, and technical factors while collaborating with client personnel within the Analytics team.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Analytics
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Analytics deliverables
• Review and analyze moderately complex Analytics challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet deliverables
• Leverage a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with client personnel in Analytics

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
• Demonstrated proficiency with GIS (Global Information Systems), ArcGIS, and Esri
• Strong Python development skills

• Microsoft SQL
• PowerBI

Pay range: $36.56 - $44.56 per hour
