What You'll Do
|
Summary/Objective: The role supports the daily execution of the organization's physical security and resilience programs. This role carries out established security procedures to protect people, facilities, and assets, while applying judgment to address non-routine situations and support operational continuity. - Administer and support physical security operations in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Greet, verify, and direct employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, access issues, or facility-related risks, escalating concerns as appropriate.
- Perform routine security tasks such as access control administration, visitor management, and surveillance system monitoring or support.
- Assist in loss prevention, vandalism deterrence, and damage mitigation efforts across facilities or operational areas.
- Apply established security procedures while recognizing when conditions require limited adjustment or fact-based decision-making.
- Support business resilience activities, including disaster preparedness measures, drills, or documentation updates.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs related to security activities, incidents, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve security-related issues and support organizational needs.
- Follow guidance on new or unfamiliar assignments while independently completing routine tasks under standard practices.
- Receive and safeguard legal or official documents (such as subpoenas), ensuring chainofcustody, confidentiality, and timely routing in accordance with established procedures.

What You'll Need
|
- Required Education: High school diploma and/or specialized certification
- Required Experience: 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting physical security operations, facilities security, or related protective services.
- Working knowledge of security procedures, access control systems, surveillance tools, or emergency response practices.
- Ability to follow established processes while using judgment to address exceptions or incomplete information.
- Strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and ability to document findings accurately.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work under moderate supervision.
- Knowledge in visitor/vendor management system and monitoring tools
- Demonstrate strong skills in problem solving and quality customer service

Expected Pay Range
|
$21.75 - 26.50/ hour
