AbouttheRole:
ThisrolewillberesponsiblefortheleadershipandoversiteofaprogramsModelBasedSystemEngineer(MBSE)developmentactivitiesandmanagement.
ResponsibilitiestoAnticipate/Expect:
Thisrolewillhaveactivitieswithwillincludebutnotlimitedto:
- ProvidestechnicaldirectiontoMBSESystemsandSoftwareEngineersfortheexecutionofengineeringprojectswithinaSysMLmodelusingCameoEnterpriseArchitecturetool.
- Coordinatewithprogramofficepersonnelinthedevelopmentofproposals,scopesofwork,programplans,statementsofwork,workbreakdownstructureswithrespecttotheroleofMBSEontheprogramtohelpdefinetheprogram.
- Define"how"EngineeringwillexecuteallaspectsoftheSystemEngineeringusingMBSEtoincludedevelopmentandreviewofrequirements,requirementsflowdown,systemarchitecture,opportunityandriskmanagement,tradestudies,technicalperformancemeasures,testing,interfacecontrol,costcontrol,weightmanagement,technicalprogramreviewpreparation,systemintegration,verification,andvalidation.
- PrepareappropriateplanstocapturetheseactivitieswhichincludesownershipandresponsibilityofMBSEstagedelements
- SupporttheSEM,SEITLead,andChiefEngineerintheirroletoDefineandReviewtheTechnicalProductsolutionthatresidesintheMBSE
- SupportandfacilitatebuildingaGDLSMBSEcapabilitytobeusedacrossprograms.StructuringandStagingtheMBSEmodeltoallowreuseofmodelelementsonfutureprograms,IRADs,orDEinitiatives.
- Define,DevelopandManagetheMBSEelementsofaprogramintoadefinedSysMLconfiguration.
- AreasincludestagingRequirements,Behavior,Structure,InterfacesandParametricelementsinanMBSEtoolforaprogram.
- GuidetheprogramteamusingtheMBSEmodelinthedevelopmentofrequirementdecompositionforFunctionalandNon-functionalrequirementsfromtheSystemSpecificationtotheallocatedbaselineofHWCIandSWCSCIrequirements.
- GuidetheprogramintheuseofMBSEstructuresforfunctionaldecompositionfromSystemFunctionstocomponentfunctions.EstablishthestructureandstaginginthemodelforbuildingandlinkingSysMLartifactsinthegenerationofActivityDiagrams,StateMachines,SequenceDiagrams,BlockDefinitionDiagrams(BDDs),InternalBlockDiagrams(IBDs)andtheirassociatedderivedrequirements.
- GuidetheprogramteaminthedevelopmentofMBSEinterfacesandthegenerationofproperDataArchitectureModelLibraries(DAML)andDomainSpecificDataModels(DSDM)accordingtotheGroundCombatSystem(GCS)CommonInfrastructureArchitecture(GCIA)modelsanddocumentation.
- BuildandmaintainMBSE-basedmetricsfortheprogramsTPMs,Trades,Risks,andDesignDecisionMemorandums(DDMs).
- ProvideprogrammetricsonthematurationoftheprogramMBSEenvironmentincompliancetothecontract,program'srequirementsandGCIAimplementation.
- DefineandStagetheMBSEforconsumptionofprogramCDRLsintotheSysMLmodelasrequiredbythecontractwiththegoalofdigitizingtheengineeringenvironment.
- SupporttheDigitalEngineering(DE)initiativeofdigitallyconnectingtoolssuchasTeamcenter,Cameo,MADe,CapitalHarness,SLICWave,etc.forthepurposeofprovidingaseamlessintegratedenvironmentthatsupportsasingleSourceofTruthinitiativeforallengineeringproducts.
- DevelopStyleGuidesforeachareaoftheMBSE.
- Performsotherdutiesasassigned.
MinimumQualifications/Whatyoumusthave:
- Bachelor'sDegreeinanEngineeringDiscipline.Similartechnicaldegreesmaybeconsideredifexperiencealignswiththisjobfunction.
- MBSEexperiencerequired.
- Minimumof7yearsofrelatedengineeringexperience.
- StrongVehicleSystemengineeringexperiencerequired.
- ProficientinMicrosoftOfficeSuite.
- ExperiencewithCameodevelopmenttool
