Digital Product Designer (UX Des/Research)

We're looking for a seasoned Digital Product Designer who thrives at the intersection of strategy, user experience, and execution. In this role, you'll help define and elevate digital experiences that support customers and partners across a global electrical distribution network, bringing clarity, usability, and innovation to complex, high-impact platforms.You won't just design screens, you'll influence product direction, modernize design practices, and create scalable systems that power consistent, best-in-class experiences worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Lead with vision: Drive a holistic digital design strategy, setting the direction for both current and future UX experiences across platforms.
• Turn insights into action: Evaluate existing digital products, identify opportunities, and translate findings into clear, actionable design improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders within an Agile (Scrum) environment to bring ideas to life.
• Design end-to-end experiences: From whiteboards to high-fidelity prototypes, create user flows, wireframes, and polished UI designs that clearly communicate intent.
• Champion the user: Conduct research, interviews, and usability assessments to develop personas, journeys, and scenarios that inform design decisions.
• Elevate design systems: Build, scale, and maintain robust design libraries and reusable component systems in Figma.
• Optimize and refine: Audit mobile and web experiences to improve usability, consistency, and overall quality.
• Ensure quality at launch: Partner with development teams to perform design QA and ensure seamless implementation of user interfaces and workflows.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your process and impact
• Proven ability to lead digital design strategy while remaining hands-on in execution
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, web/mobile patterns, and usability best practices
• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into meaningful product improvements
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in Agile teams alongside developers and product owners
• Expertise in Figma, including file organization, workflows, and scalable design systems
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly through artifacts like wireframes, prototypes, and user flows

Nice to Have

• Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Advanced expertise in Figma, including design system architecture and component libraries
