What you will do:

  • Perform client consultation: plan, design, implement, and support Physical Security Systems.
  • Develop and implement the technical architecture and physical design of the network: analyze existing Physical Security Systems and recommendsolutions.
  • Set up, configure, and test Physical Security Systems that include video surveillance, access control, sensors, air quality control, and third-partyintegrations.
  • Troubleshoot,maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/softwareproblems.
  • Assist Account Managers during the sales process by educating the customer aboutnew technologies in the Physical Securityspace. Identify and communicate potential opportunities for cross-selling to the sales team.
  • Assist in the management of projects using CDW's project managementmethodology. Follow life-cycle oriented processes and procedures.
  • Ensure a stable performance environment for enterprise computerapplications.
  • Participate in various IT projects intended to continually improve/upgrade converged networksolutions.
  • Regularlyinterface with technical and business staff of customers, including the project sponsor and stakeholders of projects in more complex engagements.
  • Serve astechnical point of contact on customerengagements.
  • Create and execute test plans to meet project requirements for assignedcomponents.
  • Manage time andexpense to meet or exceed expectations defined in the Statement of Work.
  • Provide high quality content deliverables using theappropriate document templates.
  • Ensure solution is implemented as designed to the customer's satisfaction andapproval.
  • Work with Professional Services Managers, ATAE's, Project Managers,Partners, and customers to manage expectations and timelines to ensure expectations and commitments arebeingmet.
  • Conduct/lead design workshops for complex designs to meet customer, partners,business, and technicalobjectives.
  • Proactively develop plans and activities to avoidproblems.
  • Educate the customer on solution asappropriate throughout the life of the project or servicelife.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation, and support. Or, 9+ years of experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation and support.
  • Hands-on Genetec or Verkada systems engineering experience.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients'needs.
  • Ability to travel between 25%-50%.
  • Ability to effectively communicate withclients.
  • Physically able tolift up to 30 pounds of equipment.
  • Attention to detail on inventory andlogistics isimportant.
  • Minimum of2years related experience in infrastructure/network environments, with some experience in network engineering (hardware and software), network security practices and designing,planning, and implementing LANs and WANs using the latesttechnology.
  • 2 years consulitng experience, a plus.
  • Experience in Milestone systems engineering experience,aplus.
  • Minimum of one year experience in programming or analytical work, a plus.
  • Axis Certified Professional Certification,a plus.
  • Genetec Security CenterOmnicast andSynergis Certificates,a plus.
  • Milestone Certified Integration Technician Certificate,a plus.
  • Meraki MV Experience,a plus.
  • Verkada Experience, a plus.
  • Video Surveillance System Implementation Experience,a plus.
  • Access Control System Implementation Experience,a plus.
  • Environmental Sensor Implementation Experience,a plus.
  • IoT Device Implementation Experience, a plus.
