We're hiring a Quality Inspector to support high-mix, low-volume manufacturing. This role ensures precision parts meet customer specifications through detailed inspections and accurate reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform First Article, in-process, and final inspections Inspect parts to print using hand tools, CMM, and optical comparators Generate inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance Support FAI documentation and customer certification requirements Route parts through secondary processes and ensure on-time flow to shipping Communicate quality issues and status updates with internal teams Follow ISO/AS procedures and contribute to continuous improvement REQUIREMENTS: 1+ year of quality inspection experience (manufacturing environment) Blueprint reading and basic GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5) Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards WHAT PROTOTEK OFFERS: Health, dental, vision, life and short-term disability insurance Company paid life and long-term disability insurance 9 paid Holidays annually Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) match: 100% of 3% and 50% for 4% and 5% Education reimbursement program Career advancement opportunities Flexible Schedule Competitive pay scale Paid time off (PTO) starting at 80 hours with annual increase for each year of service WORK AUTHORIZATION WORDING Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements - Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities.
