Job Summary:

This is a part-time (0.50) Assistant Professor position in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Children's Hospital Colorado. We are seeking a dynamic, patient-centered, board certified/eligible psychologist to be a part of our expanding and dynamic sleep program. Work Location:

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 1 day per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Assistant Professor:

  • PhD or PsyD

  • Licensed Psychologists or License-eligible in the State of Colorado

  • Completion of a psychology internship accredited by the American Psychological Association

  • Completion of a post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology OR equivalent training totaling 500 hours of didactic training and clinical experience

  • Board certification by the Board of Behavioral Sleep Medicine within 5 years of hire

Condition of Employment:

  • Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado

  • Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sleep background/interest preferred

  • Familiarity with electronic medical record system, email, and other medical technologies

  • Experience with assessment and treatment of sleep and circadian rhythm disorders and related comorbidities preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Training and experience in the evaluation of children and adolescents with medical, developmental, and psychiatric conditions

  • Awareness of cognitive and behavioral therapies and approaches

  • Experience in provision of individual, family, and group evidence-based therapies

  • Case management coordination

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Anticipated Pay Range:

The hiring range for this position has been established at:

Assistant Professor: $110,000 to $116,000 at a 1.0 FTE.

The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
