Desktop Support Technician (OnSite) Location: Columbia, SC Type: 6month contract (strong potential to convert) Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm We're seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide handson, onsite IT support at a large corporate facility in Columbia, SC. This role supports end users across all levels of the organization and plays a critical role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: * Provide desktop and PC support for Windows workstations, laptops, and peripherals * Troubleshoot Microsoft technologies (Windows 10, Office 365, Outlook, Teams, VPN, WiFi) * Perform hardware/software breakfix and device imaging * Resolve and track issues using a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred) * Support basic Active Directory tasks (user accounts, permissions) * Deliver excellent customer service while meeting SLAs Qualifications: * 3+ years desktop or PC support experience preferred * Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills * Experience with Windows desktop environments and ticketing tools * Ability to work independently in an onsite environment * CompTIA A+ or similar certification a plus Work Environment: * Professional, onsite corporate setting * Generally lowstress with occasional volume spikes * Opportunity for longterm placement or conversion If you enjoy handson IT support, solving real problems, and being part of a team where technology truly matters, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
