Valiant is looking for a TES Shift Lead to join our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:



  • Provides supervisory oversight of assigned associates conducting Tactical Engagement Simulation support operations in accordance with JRTC Mission Support Contract PWS and MILES Branch standards and standard operating procedures.
  • Enforces associate compliance with all company and local management policies and programs.
  • Assists in development of lesson plans and provides instruction and training to associates/ customer in all Branch functional areas.
  • Occasional opportunity to serve as a member of hiring and promotion boards. Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of Branch PWS requirements.
  • Perform/ instruct stand-up briefs for the customer, must be proficient in performing functional checks, issue, installation, troubleshooting, and physical inventories of all MILES/TES equipment used at the Joint Readiness Training Center.
  • Duties are performed under a variety of conditions that include, but are not limited to, the following: outdoors in all climatic conditions; in and from non-climate-controlled warehouses; in and from non-permanent structures located throughout the JRTC maneuver training area; and, in and from mobile contact trucks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Active Secret
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:


  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years TES/ MILES hands-on experience.
  • 1+ year of Work Group Leader experience.
  • Technical and administrative knowledge and expertise on TES systems.
  • Basic working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in military map reading, radio communications procedures, and driving with the use of night vision devices; proficiency in the use of standard electronic testing and diagnostic equipment; previous experience in the essential job duties described above; previous instructor experience.
  • Supervising personnel, planning, organizing, and delegating tasks under varied circumstances and conditions.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US.
  • Must possess a valid Louisiana State Driver's License.
  • Must be capable of working various shifts and schedules throughout the rotation.
  • Will be subject to random drug screening.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be in good physical condition capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and of prolonged sitting, standing, walking.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours/days when required.
