Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer I will support the development and improvement of state-of-the-art assembly processes and semi-automated equipment for the Quick Coupling Division, with a focus on process improvement, automation, mistake-proofing, quality, and cost reduction. This role works closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Assembly Engineers, Leads, Scheduling, and other departments to implement innovative solutions that increase production volume, improve reliability, and enhance equipment uptime. Responsibilities include supporting PLC and industrial control system design, programming, testing, start-up, troubleshooting, documentation, and equipment interface development. The position also assists with assembly cell design changes, work instructions, set-up standards, and continuous improvement activities involving electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, controls, and machinery.
