Title: Technology Analyst

Location: Columbia, SC (Partial Onsite: Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday Onsite and as Needed
)

Duration: 12 Months

Hours: 8-5 M-F - There is on-call which is in a rotation. When Oncall there is weekend work for scheduled changes and operational validations.

C2 Clearence is required- Must be a US Citizen


Duties

  • Day to Day

    • This is a role that is operationally maintaining the Identity Services Platform Teams technologies.
    • This is includes Break/Fix, Patching, Upgrades, Password Rotations, ETC.


  • Maintain a portfolio of one or more hardware and/or software technologies, products, and/or processes including standards of use, life cycles, and/or product evaluation and integration.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth pool of technical advice and expertise to provide information and guidance of the infrastructure assigned.
  • 40% Perform technical interviews and analysis with vendors and/or stake holders to develop and track the road map/life cycle of infrastructure for hardware, software, products, and/or processes.
  • May schedule regular meetings, conference calls, or on-site visits with vendors and/or stake holders to keep abreast of current technology(s), products, and/or processes.
  • May review with vendor and/or stake holders, known upcoming activities associated with their specific technology(s), product(s), and/or processes. Research and stay abreast of all information that may impact the lifecycle of any supported technology, product, and/or process.
  • 40% Facilitate the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of best practices, policies, standards, and desktop procedures to be used by the operational units to guide the use of each technology solution or product.
  • 20% Establish and maintain effective working relationships and open communication with vendors, operations, architecture, and/or management staff. null


REQUIRED technologies:

  • Extensive Knowledge with MS Active Directory.
  • How to build, and Maintain AD environments.
  • This is core to what this position will need extensive experience in.
  • MS Windows Server Administration Experience.



PREFERRED/NICE TO HAVE technologies

  • Delinea Secret Server, RSA, EntraID, ADHQ, Quest RMAD.
  • Experience with maintaining security and compliance for applications and infrastructure and have written Risk Documentation.
  • Experience in Powershell scripting or another Scripting Language leveraged for automation of manual task leveraging change pipelines.


Soft Skills:

  • Clear Verbal and Written communication skills is key to our team as we work with many different areas of our company and all levels of management.



Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other job related field or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree


Required Work Experience:

  • 4 Years specific knowledge of the technology(s), product(s), and/or processes to be supported. 1 Year directly supporting the technology(s), product(s), and/or processes. (may be concurrent)


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of a variety of information technology products and solutions.
  • Excellent research, customer service, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good judgment.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the IT organization.


Reviewed Software and Other Tools:

  • Standard office equipment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Software and tools will vary based on the technologies, products, and/or processes supported.

  • Currently a team of 11-12 employees that work extremely well together.
  • Very good culture in our department. We meet daily to discuss topics that are important for that day.
  • We are in the midst of several major projects that are strategic to some of the core pillars of IS.
