This is your opportunity to gain invaluable on-the-job experience of applying accounting/control principles learned in school to hand-on situations while getting an introduction to our collaborative and exciting culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assignments will include exposure to financial reporting and Sarbanes Oxley projects with various tasks to support department operations. The student will:

  • Assist in the monthly analysis of financial data to identify any unusual activity and coordinate with the divisions for timely completion of close.
  • Prepare journal entries.
  • Prepare quarterly financial reports and schedules.
  • Coordinate the collection of data and prepare responses to government surveys.
  • Analytical review of statistical data submissions.
  • Assist in administration of company-wide financial consolidation application; includes monthly application testing, user access review and hierarchy changes testing.
  • Review internal control testing and documentation.
  • Assist with quarterly internal control reporting.
  • Other projects/duties as assigned

Qualifications/Required skills

  • Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Demonstrated results-driven teamwork
  • Critical problem analysis, decision making and analytical abilities
  • Identify and recommend process improvements for specified projects.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Integrity
  • US citizen or permanent resident
  • Prefer GPA of 2.8 or above
