As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help monitor entry points, conduct screening procedures, and support access control activities while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will remain visible, document security-related concerns, and work as part of a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Monitor entry points and conduct screening of people, bags, packages, and permitted items in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access and security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control duties by verifying identification, directing visitors, and documenting security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and perimeter locations as assigned, noting hazards, unsecured access points, and other conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
