Position Highlights

The Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona is seeking an accomplished educator to join our Educational Psychology faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year.

This will be a non-tenure track, Limited Term Adjunct Instructor to provide part-time instruction during our Fall semester.

Please Note: The teaching schedule will be dependent upon class assignment; assignment may be online, classroom- based, and/or hybrid depending on need.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Instruct graduate students in introductory and advanced statistical methods in fall 2026. Courses include but are not limited to EDP 541 (Statistical Methods in Education), EDP 641 (Selected Applications of Statistical Methods) and EDP 646A (Multivariate Methods in Educational Research).
  • Grade projects and exams.
  • Work with Educational Psychology Faculty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated expertise in both theoretical and applied areas of Educational Psychology, supported by teaching experience in statistics.
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement effective, engaging, and instructional strategies.
  • Evidence of reflective practice and experience working with a variety of students at higher educational levels.
  • Exhibit a willingness and ability to participate in professional preparation to acquire the knowledge of and skills needed to be an effective instructor.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills and the willingness and ability to work collaboratively.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Educational Psychology or relevant discipline.
  • Experience working in Educational Psychology or similar setting.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated college-level teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching at the graduate level.
  • Experience with online learning platforms such as D2L, Zoom, and recording tools.
  • Experience working with individuals with varied educational and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Experience in course and curriculum development as it relates to statistical instruction.
