Shipping & Receiving Clerk

As a Shipping Clerk, you'll be the go-to person for coordinating outbound shipments and ensuring everything flows smoothly-from paperwork to driver communication. This is a full-time position with paid training, strong team support, and opportunities to grow in a thriving industry.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Receives, processes, and follows-up on all customer orders.
  • Generates pick tickets related to customer shipments.
  • Collaborates with customers on day-to-day operations.
  • Reconciles all shipments, inventory, and open issues, by close of business daily.
  • Works in NetSuite to enter all customer, supplier and carrier master data ensuring accuracy.
  • Creates and processes BOL's, Pick Lists, Purchase Orders, Shipments.
  • Tracks and reports on key performance indicators and critical to operations information including inventory, open orders, outstanding accounts receivable, etc.
  • Monitors and receive shipment receipts and enters NetSuite.
  • Cross-trains to ensure desk coverage within department.
  • Maintains accurate customer profiles within warehouse management system.
  • Reports any inventory or order inaccuracies to appropriate team member.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and following problems through to resolution.
  • Conducts investigations and creates corrective action plans for any customer related discrepancies.
  • Conducts warehouse transfers.
  • Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.


Job Qualifications:
* May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
* 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
* Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
* Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
* Speak, write, read fluent English
* Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
* Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday (Occasional weekend and travel requirements)
