Overview
Utilizing the Nursing Process, coordinates and implements care of patients within the outpatient infusion department of the hospital under the direction of the Department Manager. The registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Nurses in this position will set up patients with an IV or other infusion device to administer fluids or medication. Position coordinates with the in-hospital pharmacy to ensure the right dosage of the medication is administered and reassure patients by answering any questions they may have about treatment. Represents nursing within Carle Health and works to improve the health of the communities we serve. Chemotherapy/Infusion RNs identify individualized patient outcomes and develops a plan to reach outcomes.
Chemotherapy/Infusion RNs implement a plan of care for patients and evaluates progress toward outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $32.21per hour - $55.4per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
