*Process Improvement Analyst (ContracttoHire)* *Location:* Colorado Springs, CO (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, nonnegotiable)
*Client:* El Paso County *Duration:* 6month ContracttoHire *Pay Rate:* $35-$40/hr (W2) *Conversion Salary:* $75,000-$84,000 (nonnegotiable) *Key Responsibilities * *Process Improvement & Continuous Improvement* * Partner with County agencies and departments to assess currentstate processes and identify improvement opportunities * Apply *Lean transactional process improvement methodologies* and the *Seven Quality Tools* * *Plan, organize, and facilitate process improvement activities including:* * *Process mapping* * Workshops and trainings * Rapid improvement events * Develop and deliver training curriculum; coach and mentor leaders and employees * Analyze data, trends, and root causes to recommend actionable solutions * Prepare reports summarizing findings, methodologies, and recommended improvements * Support implementation and followup to ensure intended outcomes are achieved *Operational Excellence & Service Design * * *Colead Operational Excellence initiatives* for a publicsector portfolio, partnering with executive sponsors and department leaders to identify, prioritize, and deliver highimpact improvements * Lead *Customer Journey Mapping (CJM) workshops* for County Records (CORA/DHS) and IT Service Requests using a Gartnerbased framework to: * Surface pain points * Reduce reliance on tribal knowledge * Improve service transparency for citizens and employees * Support *ITIL / ITSM maturity assessments*, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management, helping shape roadmaps from legacy practices toward a governed ITSM operating model * Advocate for and support *Problem Management* capabilities independent of tool selection, leveraging incident trend analysis, dashboards, rootcause analysis, and correctiveaction pipelines * Advise on *workflow automation opportunities* (e.g., Power Automate, API integrations), emphasizing endtoend process mapping before automation to avoid "automating a broken process" * Design and deliver *Lean Six Sigma / DMAIC training*, using interactive simulations to build continuousimprovement capability and establish an operating cadence across departments *Why This Matters * * Opportunity to influence how services are delivered to citizens and County employees * High visibility with executive leadership and crossfunctional partners * Handson role driving measurable efficiency, service quality, and transparency We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
