Title: Senior Lecturer U of M Executive Area: Academic Affairs College/School/MBU: College of Education Department: Student Development Work Location: Amherst Schedule:Full time Work Arrangement:Onsite Job Summary The Department of Student Development (SD) in the College of Education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is seeking a qualified candidate to join a dedicated and accomplished community of faculty, students, and staff as the Clinical Educator in School Psychology. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position beginning in September 2026. Essential Functions The School Psychology Program offers comprehensive training that leads to Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) and Doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees, which are NASP-and APA-accredited. We share a fundamental commitment to social justice and the pursuit of educational excellence. Located in the beautiful Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, the University of Massachusetts Amherst is the flagship campus of the Commonwealth's university system and is a leading center of public higher education in the Northeast. Minimum Qualifications The candidates for this position will hold a doctorate in School Psychology from an APA- accredited program; demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring graduate students or early career professionals in school psychology. They will demonstrate skill in scholarly inquiry in School Psychology; and the ability to become an outstanding teacher and clinical supervisor at the university level. Additional Details The College of Education includes three (3) departments and serves approximately 400 undergraduate students and 400 graduate students. At any one time, the College maintains approximately 240 employee appointments, including tenure system faculty, part-time and full-time lecturers, permanent and temporary staff members, post-doctoral research associates, graduate teaching assistants, and student employees. Working Conditions Work is performed in a standard office or indoor university environment and involves minimal physical exertion. Work Schedule and Work Arrangement Flexible - dependent on course schedules. Salary Information It is expected that the salary range for this position is between $71,875 and $93,684. The specific pay for this position will be determined by the University based on consideration of all relevant factors when and if it decides to extend an offer of employment.
