Position Summary Metropolitan State University of Denver is opening its first on-campus residential community-an approximately 550-bed facility that will introduce a fully residential student experience to a traditionally commuter institution. The Assistant Director of Housing Operations & Business Services is a full-time, 12-month professional who provides leadership for all housing operations functions including assignments, occupancy strategy, billing, business processes, and daily coordination with the campus's third-party operations and management (O&M) partner. Reporting to the Executive Director of Housing & Residence Life and working closely with the Associate Director of Residence Life, the Assistant Director ensures that all operational, administrative, and logistical processes are seamless, efficient, student-centered, and aligned with MSU Denver's mission of access, belonging, and student success. This position plays a critical leadership role in building operational systems, establishing policies and timelines, coordinating data and reporting, and delivering an exceptional housing experience for students and families. Salary for Announcement We anticipate the qualified candidate to be placed between $67,000 - $75,000. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The above salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
