Job Description

Team Background:

The U.S. Fintech Team is responsible for managing and growing Visa's relationships with a broad range of fintech clients across North America. The team partners with leading and emerging players across neobanks, brokerages, remittance providers, B2B and commercial fintechs, digital wallets, embedded finance platforms, BNPL providers, and crypto and digital asset companies. Our mandate is to help these clients scale by leveraging Visa's network, products, and ecosystem while supporting innovation across payments and financial services.

Within this organization, the U.S. Crypto Team focuses specifically on expanding Visa's partnerships across the U.S. crypto and digital asset ecosystem. The team works with cryptonative companies, fintechs, wallets, exchanges, and infrastructure providers to scale stablecoin and digital assetdriven use cases, support commercialization, and drive adoption of Visa's solutions. This includes selling and positioning Visa capabilities across card issuance, payments, wallets, on and offramps, stablecoin settlement, and emerging cryptoenabled financial products. The team also serves as a bridge between the market and Visa's internal product and strategy teams, ensuring ecosystem insights inform gotomarket execution and product development.

Job Description:

As a Director, US Crypto Business Development, part of the US Fintech Team, you will be responsible for expanding Visa's role across the U.S. crypto ecosystem. This role focuses on identifying, structuring, and executing partnerships with cryptonative companies, fintechs, wallets, exchanges, and infrastructure providers, while driving adoption of Visa's crypto and payments capabilities.

You will work directly with clients on commercial strategy and solution positioning across a broad set of crypto use cases, including card issuance, payments, wallets, on and offramps, stablecoins, and emerging cryptoenabled financial services. The role requires a strong mix of sales experience, ecosystem knowledge, and technical fluency, with the ability to translate client needs into practical, scalable opportunities for Visa.

The US Crypto BD team partners closely with Visa's product, strategy, account management, risk, legal, and finance teams to bring deals from concept through execution. As an early member of the U.S. crypto team, you will help shape gotomarket strategy, develop seller enablement materials, and provide market feedback that influences Visa's crypto product roadmap. This role is suited for someone looking to work across the full crypto ecosystem and play a handson role in growing Visa's presence in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be part of Visa's US Crypto team, which is responsible for all client and revenue efforts. Work closely with product teams, account executives, and other Visa key stakeholders to on sales and partnership efforts across the crypto ecosystem.
  • Identify opportunities and deliver client solutioning and on commercial deals end-to-end.
  • Serve as an external facing expert on stablecoins and payments, educate key clients on the ecosystem and opportunities with Visa solutions.
  • Identify and help shape transformative product solutions that will deliver value to our business and our clients through this ecosystem evolution
  • Influence and provide market feedback and knowledge sharing to cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
  • Manage key accounts and relationships with crypto-natives working at the intersection of tradfi and defi and on payments initiatives

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.

The estimated salary range for this positionis $178,300.00 to $ 285,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
