RP Pro Services is seeking highly qualified Loan Specialist to support the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and excel in written and verbal communication. In this role, you'll manage a complex portfolio of loans across the full lifecycle - from origination and servicing to guaranty purchasing and liquidation. The majority of your work (at least 60%) will involve complex or sensitive loan cases requiring independent judgment and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex loan files across multiple stages: processing, origination, servicing, guaranty purchasing, and/or liquidation - with at least 60% of time focused on complex or sensitive cases.
  • Review and analyze requests from direct borrowers and participant lenders, independently determining what financial data is needed to evaluate each case.
  • Analyze financial statements using cash flow projections and ratio analysis to identify trends, assess risk, and make independent recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop solutions for complex delinquent or at-risk loans, protecting the agency's interests while supporting small business survival.
  • Conduct interviews and counsel borrowers and lenders on agency practices, assessing needs and identifying additional support resources when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records across agency systems (LTrack, CAFS, and Forgiveness Platform) to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Review and process trailing documents, associate files appropriately, and make recommendations on transaction requests per agency SOPs and guidelines.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), Qterm, and the Guaranty Purchase Tracking System (GPTS) for daily tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • 3+ years of experience in loan administration, financial analysis, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of loan documentation such as financial statements, credit instruments, and related records.
  • Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to extract critical information from borrowers, lenders, and documentation.
  • Experience with federal agency loan programs or SBA-related servicing.
  • Proficiency with agency tracking systems (LTrack, CAFS, and Forgiveness Platform).
