Web Systems Specialist
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
The Web Systems Specialist supports Information Systems initiatives by performing hands-on updates and maintenance to the ecommerce website and related systems. The role is responsible for executing content changes, supporting system integrations, and helping maintain a consistent, high-quality user experience. Work is performed within established guidelines to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support website functionality and content needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and update ecommerce product listings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with marketing and brand standards.
- Execute website content updates including product images, IFU (Instructions for Use) links, and related assets.
- Serve as the gatekeeper of website look and feel, ensuring consistency with approved design and branding guidelines.
- Configure and manage Google Analytics, including setup, tracking validation, and basic performance analysis/reporting.
- Configure andmaintainloyalty and marketing automation platforms, ensuring campaigns,automations, and loyalty programs are accurately built and deployed per business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into dynamic user segments using customer data, behaviors, and attributes withinActiveCampaign.
- Set up and managepointssystems, rewards, promotions, and rules inVoucherify(e.g., accrual/redemption logic, campaigns, tiers) based on defined program designs.
- Build and QA email automations, triggers, and loyalty initiatives end-to-end to ensureaccurateexecution and a seamless customer experience.
- Act asliaisonfor product setup and updates with global partners, ensuringaccuraterepresentation on the website.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website content,integrations, and tracking discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams.
- Execute updates based on direction from Marketing and Product Teams while building system knowledge andidentifyingimprovement opportunities.
- Support SEO (search engine optimization) best practices, including metadata updates, URL structure, and site indexing.
- Perform regular quality assurance (QA) testing for website updates, releases, and new features across browsers and devices.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for website updates, integrations, and troubleshooting processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development or related fieldrequired, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web fundamentals.
- Familiarity with web browsers, troubleshooting tools, and basic debugging.
- Strong attention to detail andhigh levelof organization in managing content and system updates.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to quickly learnnew technologies, tools, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with documenting issues, defects, and requirements clearly and concisely.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics or similar analytics platforms.
- Experience working with ecommerce platforms or content management systems (CMS) preferred.
- Comfortable executing tasks based on direction while ensuring quality and consistency standards are upheld.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and global partners.
