| Job Summary |
The
Jindal School of Management (
JSOM) is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and relationship-driven professional to lead the expansion and formalization of our alumni network. This role will focus on building the structural foundation for our alumni relations, specifically spearheading the launch of new regional or industry-focused alumni chapters. The ideal candidate will blend strategic project management with high-energy community engagement to cultivate a vibrant, lifelong network of global alumni.

Bachelor's degree. Three (3) years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. |

Preferred Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in community management, event planning, or volunteer management. Technical Proficiency: Experience navigating CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Slate) and using social media tools (specifically LinkedIn) for community building. Core Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong public speaking ability, servant-leadership mindset, and the organizational skills required to manage cross-functional projects.

Chapter Launch & Infrastructure Development
Chapter Playbook: Design and document a standard "Chapter Launch Playbook" outlining the governance, expectations, and operational guidelines for new alumni chapters. Geographic Expansion: Identify high-density alumni regions and collaborate with local alumni leaders to establish new regional or sector-specific chapters. Volunteer Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and manage volunteer alumni chapter leaders, providing them with the resources and university alignment needed for success.
Alumni Engagement & Activity Programming
Event Strategy: Plan, coordinate, and execute high-impact alumni events, including networking mixers, speaker panels, and homecoming activities (both virtual and hybrid). Benefits & Value Proposition: Define and promote clear benefits for active alumni, ensuring a compelling value proposition that drives sustained engagement. Student-Alumni Bridge: Collaborate with student organizations (such as the Dean's Council and other student leadership groups) to create mentorship and career-bridging opportunities between current students and alumni.
Marketing, Content Curation & Outreach
Communications Strategy: Curate and write compelling content for quarterly alumni newsletters, dedicated LinkedIn groups, and spotlight features on the website. Success Story Pipeline: Establish a systematic process to track and showcase alumni achievements, reinforcing the brand value of the institution.
Data Analysis & Network Insights
Database Management: Clean, update, and manage alumni data records within the CRM to ensure accurate tracking of geographic locations, industries, and giving potential. Engagement Analytics: Track event attendance, email open rates, and chapter growth metrics to provide leadership with quarterly data-driven reports on the health of the alumni network.
