Desktop Support Team Lead - 2-Week Onsite Project Overview We are seeking a Desktop Support Team Lead for a short-term, onsite engagement supporting the early phase of a large-scale system implementation. This role will lead a small team of technicians focused on asset inventory and documentation, while also contributing hands-on to the project. Project Details * Duration: 2 weeks (5 days onsite) * Start Date: Late June / Early July * Scope: Oversee and execute detailed inventory of IT devices and peripherals Key Responsibilities * Lead and support a team of desktop technicians performing asset inventory * Ensure accuracy and completeness of all device and peripheral data captured in Excel * Monitor team productivity, progress, and adherence to project timelines * Perform hands-on inventory work alongside the team as needed * Serve as the main point of contact onsite, ensuring professionalism in all user interactions * Collaborate with stakeholders and provide updates on project status and metrics Required Qualifications * Strong desktop support experience * Prior team lead or supervisory experience * Strong experience with PC hardware and desktop environments * Advanced attention to detail and organizational skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment with strict documentation requirements Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Chantilly, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
