About the RoleProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Radiology Tech to join its Imaging team in Connecticut. This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging, ensuring patient safety, and providing an exceptional patient experience. You'll work alongside a collaborative care team while supporting imaging services for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality radiologic examinations while following established imaging standards and protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Review patient orders, demographics, coding, and documentation for accuracy.
- Utilize PACS systems to review images and imaging reports.
- Maintain imaging equipment and support quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
- Assist with department operations, patient scheduling workflows, and cardiac monitor testing support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT registration and Connecticut radiography license.
- Ability to maintain continuing education requirements for Radiography registration.
- 1+ years of experience as a Radiographic Technologist.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bone Densitometry certification.
- 3+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Experience working with electronic health records.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, or similar software.
- Experience with EMR systems such as Allscripts and/or EPIC.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $23.89 - $42.69 per hour
