Job Description Summary:	The Milken Institute School of Public Health (also known as Milken Institute SPH, or GWSPH) is the school of public health of George Washington University in Washington, D.C. U.S. News & World Report University Rankings ranks the Milken SPH as the 11th best public health graduate program in the United States. With 1,000 graduate students and 180 undergraduate students from nearly every U.S. state and more than 35 nations pursue undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral-level degrees in public health, its student body is one of the most ethnically diverse among the nation's private schools of public health. The Research Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the lab, in addition, the candidate will assist with maintenance of the mosquito breeding colony and reading microscopy slides for parasitemia. Upon successful training, the candidate will participate in the analysis of sera by ELISA, assist with malaria cultures and animal experiments. Performs other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications:	Qualified candidates will hold a BA/BS in a related discipline. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.
