Title: Staff Psychologist Executive Area: Student Affairs & Campus Life College/School/MBU: Campus Life & Wellbeing Department: Ctr Counseling & Psych Health Work Location: Amherst Schedule:Full Time Work Arrangement:Hybrid Job Summary The incumbent provides evaluation and treatment to a wide range of students presenting to the clinic. Participates in preventative mental health programs as a consultant and leader of workshops. Provides specialized services in at least one major program and crisis/liaison services, including regular intervention with emergency and highly acute situations. Essential Functions Clinical responsibilities: Other Functions Understands responsibilities with respect to Title IX, Clery, and other compliance requirements Minimum Qualifications Ph.D., Psy. D., or Ed.D. in clinical or counseling psychology or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual and/or bicultural (particularly in Mandarin) Additional Details Typical mental health center environment Working Conditions Work is primarily performed in an indoor university environment and involves lifting and transporting materials or equipment and general physical activity, including prolonged standing, walking, or assuming low postures.
