We are seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to drive the design of optimized, highly personalized user interfaces and interactions. In this pivotal role, you will leverage modern front-end technologies and AI-assisted coding tools to deliver consistent, accessible, and delightful digital experiences for patients, healthcare providers, and partners globally. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of design, technology, and innovation, making a tangible impact on the future of health. **What You'll Do:** * **User-Centric Design:** Support in-depth user research to identify needs, pain points, and workflows within specialized domains, ensuring designs are precisely tailored to each persona's context.
* **Aesthetic & Functional Balance:** Master the art of balancing visual appeal with usability, creating seamless user experiences that adhere to core usability and accessibility principles.
* **Dynamic UI Creation:** Craft compelling UI artifacts, including iconography, typography, texture, patterns, color, and visual hierarchy. Deliver outputs such as wireframes, storyboards, user flows, visual mockups, and interactive prototypes.
* **Information Architecture:** Strategically structure and organize content and data within digital products to ensure intuitive navigation, interactivity, and clarity.
* **Complex System Design:** Simplify intricate workflows, accommodate diverse user roles, and integrate the human element into designs for complex user scenarios.
* **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner effectively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business objectives and technical constraints.
* **User Advocacy:** Champion the end-user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring their needs are met from requirements gathering through usability testing.
* **Iterative Improvement:** Conduct rigorous testing, gather user feedback, and iterate on designs to continuously enhance product functionality and user experience.
* **Design System Management:** Create, maintain, and evolve a comprehensive suite of reusable UI components, tokens, libraries, widgets, and design guidelines, ensuring consistency across all digital products. **What You'll Bring:** This role demands a unique blend of technical prowess and interpersonal finesse. You will possess deep expertise in crafting exceptional, highly targeted digital product solutions across diverse technology platforms, addressing the unique complexities within specialized fields such as Cardiovascular, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Oncology. **Must-Have Qualifications:** * Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Product UI and Interaction Design, UX, or related roles.
* Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design principles, frameworks, and best practices.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* In-depth Design System experience and expertise.
* Ability to influence and drive change in a complex organizational environment.
* Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data insights into actionable design solutions.
* **UI Design Skills:** Proficiency in visual design principles, layout, balance, contrast, responsive and adaptive design methodologies, typography, iconography, and color theory.
* **Interactive Prototyping:** Ability to create interactive prototypes to test and demonstrate critical data visualization concepts, with expertise in micro-interactions, feedback loops, motion, interactive gestures, and behavioral characteristics.
* **Usability and Accessibility:** Understanding of core accessibility best practices and guidelines such as POUR (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, Robust) as defined by WCAG, considering diverse user needs from inception to experience.
* **Information Architecture (IA):** Expertise in organizing and structuring content and data for easy navigation, interactivity, engagement, clarity, and usability.
* **AI Tooling & Environments:** Exposure to the latest AI environments that enhance, improve, and amplify the quality of design outputs related to user research, strategy, testing, and product/data application solutions.
* **Soft Skills:** Exceptional communication and collaboration, problem-solving and creativity, attention to detail and organization, adaptability and flexibility, critical thinking, human-centered design, receptiveness to feedback, empathy, and time management.
* **Education:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, HCI, User Experience, or a related field. **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * Certifications in HCD/UX/UI design or related areas.
* Deep expertise with any of the following tools: Figma, Storybook, Claude Design, Zeplin, Miro, Claude Cursor, Figjam, Notion, CoPilot, Userzoom/Usertesting. The target hiring compensation for this role is $125-150K. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include: medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match (if applicable).
