Maximo Lead Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Maximo applications for USPS enterprise systems. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with engineers and analysts to deliver robust software solutions. Leads development of algorithms, database design, and integration strategies. Oversees developer teams, ensures software quality, and mitigates risks. Applies scientific analysis and modeling to optimize system performance and meet user requirements within time and cost constraints. Must have experience and deep knowledge of Maximo, functional and technical areas/disciplines and be able to conduct research on special areas. Must create software development plans and strategies. Must have experience in developing and implementing algorithms. Must have experience in database design. Oversee work of developers. Conduct quality control of software development. Conduct proactive risk identification and mitigation of software development process. Must have experience in devising possible solutions to predicted problems, evaluating other options; working as part of a team, which may be established purely for a particular project, to write a specific section of the program; combining all elements of the program design and testing it; testing sample data-sets to check that output from the program works as intended.
