Overview:
Training will take place Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5PM to begin. After training, a set schedule will be determined, Monday - Friday during the hours of 8AM and 7PM. This role requires availability for occasional Saturday hours from 9:00AM-1:00PM

The Associate Admissions Support Specialist is one of the initial points of contact for individuals interested in learning more about Herzing University's programs. The Associate Admissions Support Specialist is responsible for responding to prospective students' inquiries, linking the prospective student to the right campus, and documenting activities while creating a remarkable experience for both internal/external customers.

REQUIREMENTS:



  • High School Diploma required. Associate Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in admissions, recruiting, sales or telemarketing a plus.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills such as the ability to build cooperative relationships with a diverse student base.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers, database entry and/or Microsoft Office.
  • Must be available to work evening, day and weekend hours where required.


                Responsibilities:



                • Conducts initial, introductory call with prospective online students to further application.
                • Makes outbound calls and callbacks to prospective students interested in our Online channel and leave messages for prospective students.
                • Responds to prospective student inquiries via phone, collect information and transfer to respective campus.
                • Records activities related to prospective student in system database.
                • Contacts prospective students on behalf of campus admissions advisor.
                • Set up campus appointments with students for campus information and tours.
                • Assists with testing of marketing projects as they become available.
                • Provides exceptional customer service for new leads and existing customers with inbound inquiries.
                • Takes responsibility for self-improvement by continuous and constant training in order to provide the highest level of service possible.
                • Achieves individual performance goals as it relates to call center objectives.


                Compensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $21.63.

                Physical Requirements:



                • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 85% of the time.
                • Must be able to occasionally move around the work location.
                • Constantly operates office and/or teach equipment which may include computers, copiers, fax machines, audio/visuals.
                • Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate with students, staff or colleagues face-to-face or over the telephone.
