The Concrete Laborer is responsible for general laborer duties at the jobsite and performs tasks involving physical labor for concrete construction projects. The job duties of a Concrete Laborer may include cleaning/ preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines. Working as part of a collaborative jobsite team, you will gain comprehensive experience across all facets of concrete paving

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Operate equipment & hand/power tools such as forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment
• Set rebar, dowels, forms, and other construction materials as assigned
• Set braces and concrete forms
• Clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials
• Assist other craft workers
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing to travel up to 100%
• Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, and/or weekends
• Must be able to work in conditions with loud noise; work on/around heavy/moving machinery; bend, walk, stand and sit for extended time; and use hand tools
• Must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. or more on a regular basis
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in concrete demolition, earthwork, finishing subgrade, and underground PVC pipe work is preferred.

In addition to a competitive salary of $28.00 per hour, Davis Bacon Rates apply on participating projects.
