Product Producer (Music)
Location: Culver City, CA or Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $95.00/hour
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Product Producer to join its Product and Design Studio supporting Music. In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with Product, Design, Business, Engineering, and Marketing teams to organize, strategize, and guide initiatives that enhance the customer experience across the Music ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines exceptional program management expertise with strong creative intuition and a passion for digital entertainment products. You will play a critical role in driving strategic planning, feature development, and program execution while helping bring innovative customer experiences to life.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from concept through launch, ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Partner with Product Management, Human Interface Design, Content Design, Engineering, Business, and Marketing teams to execute product initiatives and feature roadmaps.
- Create, maintain, and communicate project plans, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Drive process improvements, workflows, and operational standards across Product teams.
- Track project status, identify risks, and communicate scope changes and key updates to stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate weekly team meetings, distribute updates, and ensure action items are completed.
- Lead large cross-functional project reviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate executive reviews, product demonstrations, leadership presentations, and keynote preparation.
- Support go-to-market planning and execution by coordinating Product deliverables across teams.
- Identify key stakeholders and ensure alignment across cross-functional groups.
- Champion exceptional user experiences while balancing business priorities and project timelines.
- Drive projects forward proactively, removing roadblocks and ensuring teams remain aligned and productive.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Producer, Project Manager, or Program Manager within technology organizations focused on media, entertainment, or digital products.
- Background in user experience, product management, creative operations, or related disciplines.
- Experience supporting Product teams and driving operational excellence within cross-functional environments.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to connect initiatives across products, teams, and customer experiences.
- Strong understanding of digital entertainment services and the relationship between hardware, software, and services.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex product ecosystems.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a collaborative, objective approach to decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting product development within media, music, streaming, or entertainment-focused organizations.
- Experience preparing executive reviews, product demos, presentations, and keynote materials.
- Familiarity with product operations methodologies and process optimization.
- Experience facilitating workshops and leading cross-functional planning sessions.
- Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences through technology and design.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
